Spanish Spelling Bee

We will be holding 3 rounds of a Spanish Spelling Bee during National Foreign Language Week next week.  You will need to have the Spanish alphabet memorized for the Spelling Bee.  No alphabet sheets will be allowed.  You will have access to a whiteboard if you need to write down the word before spelling it out loud.  

The following prizes will be rewarded in each class:

1st place in Round 1: 3 bonus points on any quiz.  
1st place in Round 2: 4 bonus points on any quiz.
1st place in Round 3: 5 bonus points on any quiz.  

The overall winner for each class is the student who spelled the most words correctly over all 3 rounds.  
Overall winners in each class earns 5 bonus points on any quiz and goes on to the Thursday advisory finals.

The top 3 from the finals will go on to the Northeast Regional Spanish Spelling bee to take place on April 11, 2015 in Mansfield, MA.  Finalists will travel with Señora Massnari Sapp to the event.  

The rounds will take place the following days:  

Round 1: Monday
Round 2: Wednesday
Round 3: Thursday
FINALS (top 3 out of 5 class winners): Thursday at Advisory
